My name is Glenn Clark, a proud alumni of East Stroudsburg University (ESU) class of 1974.
Warriors Business Network (WBN) is a grassroots effort to build a community of East Stroudsburg University Alumni that are actively engaged in business, education, nonprofits, government, and more via LinkedIn.
As a volunteer member of the ESU Alumni Board, Foundation Board, and the Business College Boards, I have personally witnessed a lack of connectivity between active students and experienced alumni.
The Warriors Business Network is a grass roots effort by ESU alumni to build a LinkedIn community that can be accessed by ESU students and Alumni.

While most ESU students are active in social media, there is minimal familiarity with business-oriented tools such as LinkedIn.
We made some minor inroads on Linked in via interested alumni who personally made substantial efforts to match mentors with student mentees, list open jobs in their areas of expertise, identify internship opportunities, etc. via a LinkedIn listing. We have also experimented with a software designed to connect students and alumni but that has yielded minimal results.

Our Goal
There are over 25,000 ESU alumni with some sort of reference on Linked In.
Our goal is to develop a community of alumni that will be 5,000- 10,000 strong, and who are also willing to participate as a resource to both current ESU students as well as to each other as graduates of ESU.
Every one of us has our own unique connection to East Stroudsburg University.
That connection propelled us in our careers in some way, shape or form. Now we have a unique opportunity to build something none of us had access to when we were students.
